About Us
First off, this band has it all.  With a light show that will amaze you and the best full sound money can buy we spared no expence
when it came to our gear.. having A sound man who by the way ran sound for Confederate Railroad helps the band have the pro
sound you just dont hear in every band.

We are an all family band.
Thats right !!   A mom, step dad and two sons.
We play it all, 70's 80's rock ,funk and country so everyone gets to hear what they want..
We always dress very nice no matter where we play, we feel  that we are there to perform a job
and that job is to impress the owners and the people, so the better you look the more pro you are..
The band consists of:

Mike Fowler, vocals, lead guitar & bass
Kay Conaway, vocals, guitar, fiddle & bass
Larry Fowler, vocals,Lead guitar, saxophone and banjo
Mel Conaway, vocals & drums

First there is Kay (the mom), who sings, plays bass, fiddle, guitar, tamborine and fronts the band with her great looks
and awsome personality..
Kay grew up in West Virginia where she learned to sing with her sisters in church before taking to the guitar and fiddle
who she learned from her father Stan O'dell, who then showed her the ropes at an early age by taking her on the road
to play music, and learn she did. They started their own radio and TV show in W.Va then started with some big named acts such
as Dolly Parton, Porter Wagner and yes even Hank himself...
Kay moved to Ohio and raised two boys (Larry & Mike) and still never stopped the music...
She got her sons involved early and now they get to enjoy playing with her on stage every weekend.
She definatly is the lite of the band, with her onstage presance that cant be beat.

Next comes Mel, who also grew up in the wild and wonderful state of W.Va
Mel is the leaning post of the band, the rock you might say.  He takes care of all the booking along with the bus, money,
driving and anything else that breaks down on us..
Mel started playing drums at a very early age, then got with a few bands before joining the ever popular Seadogs rock band...
The band traveled all over northeast america with a ton of gigs playing 4 to 5 times a week.. Mel has seen it all and played it all
when it comes to music.. He married Kay in the early 80's and even now they still go strong..
Mel provides A solid beat everytime so the people who love to dance love him and the guys in the band groove with him well.
When you come to hear us just talk motorcycles with him and you will never get away!!

Then there is Mike, considered one of the best vocals anywhere.
With numerous 1st place karaoke contest winnings under his belt to prove it, Mike can sound like anyone he wants to.
From Billy Joel to Nickleback to Rascal Flatts Mike does it all...
He Picked up his first guitar at 8 yrs old and never looked back, his blazing fast style of playing along with his vocals really adds
the flavor the band has.  Mike also keeps the crowed entertained when its time to get funky, with his slap bass playing and low deep
solos you see almost nowhere but TV. The crowd is simply in awe when Mike takes his slap funk bass solos on Mustang Sally and
Mony Mony and just wait till you see him play brick house and play that funky music white boy WOW!
Mike is a true blessing for this band and being the youngest of the two brothers he often tends to show the old dogs in the crowd
new tricks!

And last we have Larry, who can play anything he gets his hands on..
Being the lead guitar player just wasnt enough for him, so he added alto and tenor saxophone to the band along with synth piano,
some harp and yes for you country fans even a little banjo to spice things up!
Larry does and thinks nothing but music, and tends to all of the gear when things need fixing and owns his own recording studio. He has spent his life around music and pa systems so listen to what he has to say when it comes to gear.. Larry is the oldest  brother and has played with a few other bands in the past but none could compare to this one he says..He loves to inneract with the crowd with a trunk full of wigs and get ups you are sure to laugh and have a great time. Larry has alot of influences as far as music goes but we think his Peter Frampton talk box is the best, people are always saying to him "(talk in your tube again we love it!)"  so come see for yourself!

Let us not forget our sound man Rob Maynard, who's brain we could not do without, Rob loves and is good at what he does.
Rob is like another brother to Larry and Mike and A son to Kay and Mel.. He has struggled through some crying and moanings when
the guys on-stage cant hear this or that but keeps them happy somehow... He always keeps in close contact with club owners through out the evening to make sure the sound is not too loud and listens to the crowd when they have an opinion and keeps music playing when the band breaks so there is never a stop in the music all night long... you just dont find A soundman who cares like he does...We are greatful to have landed him when we did
